Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is an escape room?
An escape room is an immersive experience where you are locked in a room full of puzzles to solve and you have 60 minutes to break out.
  2. Is it safe?
Yes. There are employees in the facility with you while you play so that, in the case of an emergency, everyone participating will be safe.
  3. How much does it cost?
Monday – Friday before 4.30pm: $35 per person
Monday – Friday after 4.30pm: $40 per person
Saturday all day: $40 per person
Sunday all day: $45 per person

Children under the age of 8 years can play for free. However, due to the difficulty level, the game is not recommended for small children.
Children must be paid for according to the prices above if the booking includes only 2 players.

  1. Do I need to book?
While we do try to accommodate walk-in bookings, it’s best if you book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you want to play, a deposit is required when bookings are made, this secures your time slot with us.
  2. Is there parking?
There is street parking on Kiewa or Hume Street, please make sure to find a park with greater than 2hour parking.
  3. What if we get stuck on a puzzle?
There are game masters who will facilitate the game with you and can provide clues if you become stuck or ask help. There is no limit to how many clues you can receive.
  4. How many people can play?
The rooms can run with 2 – 8 people, so bring along family and friends!
  5. I’m not sure how many people will be on my team, what should I do?
Make your booking for the minimum number of people who will be playing. Any extra players you add to your team can pay on the day.
  6. Is there an age limit?
Whilst we do allow children to play, the puzzles are hard and are aimed toward people aged at least 16. The rooms can be modified for a junior audience at prior request, however children must be accompanied by an adult.
  7. Is there wheelchair access?
Unfortunately there is no ramp, but we may be able to assist some people. There is one stair at the front door of the building and there are some puzzles which those in a wheelchair may not be able to participate in.
  8. How long does the whole experience take?
We suggest an hour and a half for total game play. The game runs for an hour, with a ten minute pre-game briefing session. We ask all players to arrive 15 minutes prior to their start times.
  9. Are there any strobe lights in your rooms?
There are no strobe lights; however, one of our rooms does have a light which flickers occasionally.
  10. What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. Closed-in shoes are recommended but not compulsory.
  11. Can I take pictures?
We ask that you don’t take any electronics into the room to help fully immerse yourself, and to ensure the room isn’t spoiled for future participants.
  12. Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do! You are welcome to buy gift vouchers in-store or call us during business hours.
  13. Business hours
Another business shares our premises on Monday to Friday, as such, we may be available from 9-5 on weekdays for any bookings or inquiries. We also have a team member on-site Saturday mornings and whenever a group is booked in for a session.
  14. Can I get a refund if I have to cancel?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking.
